Bay City City Hall was buil in 1895, for US it is very old. I was honored to decorate the space behind mayor's desk with my tapestry.
From Michigan newspaper:
"28 years old Monique took one year to compleate the massive 30 by 8 foot tapestry that not only is a work of art using appealing colors in an interesting design, it is also a chronicle of Bay City history. Various segments of the woolen mural are scenes of Bay City landmarks: its Library, Masonic Temple, County Building, historic churches and homes and the restored City Hall. Weaving its own path in the unique tapestry is a contrasting deep blue ribbon of color depicting the Saginaw River which cuts through the city."
